Regulations of Akumal Monkey Sanctuary: Rescued Wildlife & Primate Encounter
Guests must arrive at least 20 minutes before the confirmed tour time; late arrival may result in loss of the reservation without refund
Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to participate
If a guest is found to be intoxicated, the activity will be canceled without refund
The primate bonding program is supervised and animal participation is voluntary; forced interaction is not permitted
Guests must follow staff instructions and respect all animal welfare guidelines
The experience is suitable for all ages; the supplier lists children ages 5–11 and a complimentary category for ages 4 and under
Cancelation policies of Akumal Monkey Sanctuary: Rescued Wildlife & Primate Encounter
Free cancellation with at least 24 hours’ notice. No-show or late notice: $300 MXN charge per person. The agreement also states a 30% penalty of the tour cost if the agency does not notify 24 hours in advance.
